A more sustainable caviar product
Our farm in Hua Hin aims at delivering a more sustainable caviar product to our customers.
Our sturgeons are not harmed or killed during extraction of the caviar. We preserve the life of each sturgeon to ensure the product is as fresh as it can possibly get and that the sturgeons continue to live beyond harvesting.
Our Sustainability Commitment
Respect for nature, animal welfare and food safety
At Thai Sturgeon Farm Co., Ltd., sustainability is not a marketing statement but the foundation on which our farm was designed and has operated since its establishment.
For us, sustainability means producing premium caviar while minimizing environmental impact, protecting natural resources, ensuring animal welfare, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and product quality.
Every aspect of our production is built around these principles.
Responsible Aquaculture
Our farm operates a modern Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS), which allows us to:
Significantly reduce water consumption.
Minimize environmental impact.
Operate without discharging polluted water into natural ecosystems.
Maintain optimal conditions for fish welfare throughout the production cycle.
In addition, our facility utilizes solar energy, reducing dependence on conventional energy sources and lowering our environmental footprint.
Animal Welfare
Thai Sturgeon Farm is one of the very few producers using live caviar extraction (non-lethal harvesting).
Our female sturgeons are not sacrificed during caviar production. Instead, they continue to live, recover naturally, and produce roe again in future production cycles.
This approach reflects our long-term commitment to responsible aquaculture and animal welfare.
Natural Product
We believe premium caviar should remain as natural as possible.
Therefore:
No chemical treatments are used in our farming process.
No preservatives are added to our caviar.
Every production batch is manufactured under strict food safety controls.
Independent laboratory analysis by Central Laboratory (Thailand)
confirms that our products contain no harmful substances.

This recognition reflects our continuous efforts to combine environmental responsibility with premium product quality.
Our position on Sustainability Certifications
We actively evaluate internationally recognized sustainability certification programs.
At present:
Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) does not have a certification standard for sturgeon farming.
Friends of the Sea certification is not applicable to our operation because Thai Sturgeon Farm is a fully land-based closed RAS facility, with no interaction with natural marine or freshwater ecosystems.
Although these certifications are currently unavailable for our type of production, our farming practices fully reflect internationally accepted sustainability principles.
Our Commitment
Sustainability is not achieved through a single certificate.
It is demonstrated through responsible farming practices, environmental management, food safety, animal welfare, continuous improvement, and independent verification.
Thai Sturgeon Farm remains committed to producing world-class caviar while protecting natural resources for future generations.
